The Advanced Acting class hosted the third Phantasmagoria talent on May 1 in the Alan Harvey Theater. Some acts included lip-syncs, dances, musical performances, comedy, and others. Members of the other acting classes emceed the show, performing skits between acts, and managing sound and lighting.
The prizes included an all-paid-for meal for the winner and friends from a chosen restaurant, a skip-the-line pass for Day on the Green, and a $100 cash prize.
The show had three winners: one by the teacher judges, one by the audience, and one by the Advanced Acting Class. The faculty judges included English teacher Beth Black, PHS Principal David Yoshihara, and Social Studies teacher Janine Sohn.
The teacher judges chose junior Eli Hauser, who performed an original rap. The audience chose freshman Cristobal McKay and senior Haylee Cheang, who danced together. The Advanced Acting Class chose seniors Clare Weiss and Dorothy Nemeth, who performed a song together.
