A bistro nestled in the north Norfolk countryside will host a selection of live music events this week.
The Glaven Bistro opened its doors in Glandford, near Holt, in December 2023 and its locally sourced menu quickly became a favourite with locals.
Its owners, couple James and Carron Noon, both used to be musicians so they launched a regular jazz club last summer and it has proven particularly popular.
„I love how much local people enjoy them,“ Mrs Noon said.
„They give people something to do in the area and the events don’t finish late so it makes it even more appealing!“

This week patrons will be treated to two events.
On Thursday, May 1 a jazz club band called Green Dolphin Street will take to the stage.
They have previously played at Glastonbury and clubs across the world.
The evening will run from 6pm until 9pm, with tickets costing £10 each and food also being available to order.
Then, on Saturday, May 3, there will be poetry from the Chalk River Poets and music from the local blues pair Joe and Mary.
For £25 per person, people can enjoy entry, a chilli and a glass of wine.
Tickets can be bought from the Glaven Bistro website.
